Jessica Silver is a specialist in somatic therapy as well as a certified transformative bodywork practitioner, with over ten years of experience. She graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a BA in Psychology and Sociology in 2009, and earned her Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology in 2013 from Antioch University Los Angeles.
It was during her Marriage & Family therapy program that she realized how essential nervous system regulation and body oriented treatment is in the healing of trauma. She began working at substance abuse and trauma treatment centers across Los Angeles. There, she focused on foundational somatic modalities such as Somatic Experiencing, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Bioenergetics and Reichian therapy. In her desire to pursue cutting edge somatic techniques, she traveled to Europe on a quarterly basis over a 4-year period to earn certifications in the Pantarei Approach and the Grinberg Method. She is proudly 1 of only 6 therapists who offer this professional training in the States.
Jessica treats a broad range of issues from trauma, depression, anxiety, psychosomatic illness, physical pains, affective and dissociative disorders, addiction, attachment and spirituality. She is passionate about working with clients towards achieving profound life changes through empowering them to grow into their most authentic, mindful and integrated selves.
